About Project
Holm Oaks or “Quercus Ilex” are the only species of Oak that are Evergreen. They can grow as large as 30 meters in height and have a crown spread of 30 meters. This tree had out grown the garden it was in and the decision was made to pollard it to 4 meters from ground level and allow it to regrow from there. It was a very technical job and took the team 2 days to complete. We had negotiate narrow access and also the sheds below. All in all a fun job!
