Our Previous Work
We originally removed the crown of this Oak tree in 2021. The tree had a large included union at ground level and a heavily declining canopy, with approximately only 30% still functioning.
Additionally, we noticed some large bracket fungus on the main stem identified as Fistulina Hepatica. The decision was made to remove the canopy to reduce the risk of failure in the future.
Returning in 2026
The client contacted us again in 2026 to see if we could further reduce the tree’s mass down to 4 meters from ground level. We had to utilise some large equipment to safely and efficiently move and extract the timber from the site.
This was a challenging job and worksite for us, but the final result is a clean stump that is safer for all.
