Aaron Mcgimpsey-Joyce
Managing Director & Foreman
Aaron is a highly-qualified tree surgeon with 22 years of experience in the industry. He has achieved a National Diploma in Arboriculture with distinctions from Merrist Wood College, Guildford, as well as a Royal Forestry Society Certificate in Arboriculture from Hadlow College, Kent.
He is also a fully-qualified first aider, and has all the relevant NPTC units for tree surgery work. He is currently working towards his Professional Tree Inspection qualification.
Aaron possesses a comprehensive understanding of the science behind good tree management and a deep knowledge of trees, fungi, soil science, and bio-mechanics. He brings this expertise to every job, ensuring you receive a first-class service on each and every job.
Aaron’s career in tree surgery has taken him all over the world, having worked in Norway, Sweden, Germany, and Australia as a subcontract climber specialising in large and complex tree removal and tree pruning for many years prior to starting Broadleaf Tree Surgery Ltd.

How Broadleaf Has Grown
A lot has changed about Broadleaf Tree Surgery Ltd since it was established in 2015.
Over the years, we have invested heavily in our infrastructure, health & safety procedures, and equipment with the goal of increasing efficiency and on-site safety. Broadleaf’s team has also grown to include dedicated office staff, supporting customers better throughout jobs with high-quality and well-informed updates.
